Design founder portfolios
Once a designer has founded something, the portfolio stops being an application and becomes a point of view. The founders in this collection are rarely asking for a job. They are showing what they built, what they learned from it, and what they now offer.
A few patterns repeat. Companies are presented as work, with an explicit line about what the founder owned. A career is turned into a curriculum of teaching, books and masterclasses. A single thesis sits on the homepage and everything else supports it. Some sites are simply a hub pointing at a body of writing that lives elsewhere.
For leaders still in-house this is a useful preview of the far end of the path. What carries these sites is named frameworks, regular writing, and a thesis the author is willing to be disagreed with. The writing can start now.
