What a VP portfolio looks like when the work can't be shown.

What they show

A single long page: a bio (22 years, teams built, products used by millions, $2B+ in revenue considerations), a role-by-role history from industrial designer through Sr. Director at Yahoo to Head of Design and now VP, a set of blog posts on hiring, motivating teams and design principles, two carousels of work (both gated behind a password beyond the teasers), a hobbies section, and then six long LinkedIn references from PMs, reports and peers, each specifically about team-building and management.

Why it works at this level

This is the honest version of the enterprise VP problem: the detailed work is under NDA, so the site shifts its weight onto three things that can be public: the career arc, the writing, and the references. The references are the load-bearing element, and they're chosen well: a product director describing him rebuilding a Yahoo Search team from one FTE, a former report calling him the manager who developed them. That does more for a VP candidacy than any redacted screenshot. The role history with domains listed (SD-WAN, data-center automation, marketing cloud) signals range without revealing anything proprietary.

What to steal

If your work is gated, don't apologize for it; move the proof elsewhere. Ask five people who saw you lead (a PM partner, a former report, a peer, an exec) for a paragraph each and publish them in full. List the domains you've led in, not just the companies. Let your writing on management stand in for the case studies you can't show.

What I'd change

One thing I'd push on. Every site here is good; this is the note I'd send the author.

The site is dated, both visually and in content, and the current employer isn't named. The password walls are understandable; the missing 'what I've done in the last five years' is the bigger gap.
